The World Congress is the premiere scientific (and social) meeting for the IST, held every two years. The current IST World Congress is being held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, September 2019. The previous IST World Congress was in Hainan, China in 2017. The next IST congress will be the Asia-Pacific Section Congress in Cairns, Australia, 2020 (final dates not yet announced). The next full IST World Congress is scheduled for 2021, venue and dates yet to be announced, but hosted by the European Section of IST, somewhere in Europe.
Don’t miss these major events! Support the IST and support your own learning and information dissemination by attending IST congresses. Presentations at these congresses are reserved for IST members, but joining the IST costs less than the difference in registration fees between members and non-members, so joining the IST is an economic “no brainer”.
These meetings, currently held once every two years, are the premier international scientific forum in toxinology, drawing IST members and many others from around the World.
